This years’ McCann Memorial saw some of the best junior water - skiers battle it out for the chance to win a membership at Princes Club for the 2008 season. This includes plenty of free skiing and top tips from our experienced coaches.

The day began sunny with a calm breeze but slowly descended into cold heavy winds. This failed to dampen the spirits of the skiers, friends and family who had gathered. With an excellent atmosphere and spirits high, the day ran smoothly and there were some impressive scores produced. The skiers ranged from first time competitors to seasoned pros, including the newly crowned World Champion, Nicole Arthur, who managed to put on an excellent show for the kids and gave us all a lesson on how it should be done!

The lucky winners were chosen from a very talented group and we found it extremely hard to choose, as all of the kids hosted the qualities we were looking for, dedication and love of the sport. A decision had to be made though and here are the 2008 Princes Club membership winners –
